Mumbai, October 25, 2024 – In a noteworthy addition to their real estate investments, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and his son, Abhishek Bachchan, have acquired 10 luxurious flats worth ₹24.95 crore in Mulund, Mumbai. The apartments are part of Oberoi Realty’s prestigious project Eternia, which offers spacious, ready-to-move-in 3 BHK and 4 BHK homes, known for their high-end amenities and design.
According to the registration documents accessed by Square Yards, the Bachchans’ recent acquisition spans a total area of 10,216 sq ft, with each apartment coming equipped with two dedicated parking spaces, totalling 20 parking spaces. Eight of the ten units have a carpet area of 1,049 sq ft, while the remaining two measure 912 sq ft. The properties were officially registered on October 9, 2024, following a stamp duty payment of ₹1.50 crore along with a registration fee of ₹3 lakh.
The Eternia project by Oberoi Realty, set in Mulund West, boasts an ideal blend of greenery and modern infrastructure, which has made it a sought-after neighbourhood for high-profile buyers and professionals. Abhishek Bachchan reportedly acquired six of these apartments for ₹14.77 crore, with the remaining four purchased by Amitabh Bachchan.
This latest acquisition brings the Bachchans' real estate portfolio valuation above the ₹200-crore mark, further establishing their status as influential investors in Mumbai’s prime property market.
