On January 16, an intruder allegedly broke into Saif’s Bandra residence in the early hours of the morning. The thief reportedly entered through a window and was hiding in the room of Saif and Kareena’s youngest son, Jeh. The house help noticed the intruder and screamed, alerting Saif.
A confrontation ensued during which Saif was stabbed six times, sustaining injuries to his hand, neck, and back. One of the wounds was dangerously close to his spine. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent a 2.5-hour surgery involving a neurosurgeon and a plastic surgeon. Thankfully, Saif is now out of danger and recovering well, as confirmed by his family’s official statement.
Doctors revealed that Saif sustained six injuries, two of which were deep. One deep wound near the spine required the expertise of a neurosurgeon, while a deep wrist wound required plastic surgery. Saif is currently under observation, and his recovery is being closely monitored.
