Mumbai, India – In a significant real estate acquisition, Bollywood actor Ronit Roy and his wife Neelam Roy have purchased a high-end apartment in the Versova area of Mumbai. The couple bought the 4,258 sq ft property for a substantial ₹18.94 crore, as confirmed by property registration documents accessed by IndexTap.com.
The luxurious apartment, situated on a higher floor of the Lodha Versova project developed by Macrotech Developers (commonly known as Lodha), comes with four car parking spaces. The transaction was officially registered on June 10, 2024, with a stamp duty of ₹1.13 crore and registration fees amounting to ₹30,000.
Ronit Roy, renowned for his roles in several popular television serials and films, including the recent "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," continues to make headlines not only for his acting career but also for his significant real estate investments. Last December, Roy and his wife celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary by renewing their marriage vows, showcasing their enduring partnership both personally and financially.
Versova is a sought-after locality in Mumbai, home to many Bollywood celebrities. The Versova apartment acquisition places Ronit Roy and Neelam Roy among other notable actors who reside in prime Mumbai neighborhoods such as Andheri, Juhu, Khar, Bandra, and Lokhandwala. Prominent stars like Amitabh Bachchan and his family have bungalows in Juhu, while Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor reside in Bandra.
Despite attempts to reach out, neither Macrotech Developers nor Ronit Roy provided any comments regarding the purchase.
