Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is making significant strides in the real estate sector. Recently, Aryan purchased two luxury flats in South Delhi’s prestigious Panchsheel Park for an impressive Rs 37 crore. This new acquisition adds to the Khan family's extensive property portfolio.
The newly acquired floors are in the same building where Shah Rukh Khan already owns the ground floor and basement. This building holds sentimental value for the Khan family as it is where Shah Rukh and Gauri lived during the early years of their marriage. According to documents accessed by the Economic Times, Aryan paid Rs 2.64 crore in stamp duty when registering the property in May 2024.
Shah Rukh Khan’s connection to Panchsheel Park extends further; he owns a 27,000 sq-ft heritage villa in the area, which he purchased in 2001 for approximately Rs 13 crore. The Khan family has deep ties to Delhi, with both Shah Rukh and Gauri being natives of the capital city.
Pradeep Prajapati, founder of the boutique real estate consultancy Wealthvisory Capital, remarked on the rarity of high-value transactions by Bollywood stars in Delhi. He mentioned that Amitabh Bachchan previously sold his Gulmohar Park property in South Delhi for around Rs 23 crore, highlighting the significance of Aryan’s recent investment.
Aryan Khan's property purchase marks another addition to the sprawling real estate holdings of the Khan family. Earlier, in January 2023, his sister Suhana Khan bought agricultural land in Thal village, Alibaug, Maharashtra, for Rs 12.91 crore. Following this, in February 2024, Suhana also acquired a beachfront property near Mumbai for over Rs 10 crore.
On the professional front, Suhana Khan made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies and will next appear alongside her father in Sujoy Ghosh’s The King. Aryan Khan, meanwhile, is set to make his directorial debut with the web show Stardom.
The Khan family’s real estate investments and expanding professional endeavors continue to make headlines, showcasing their prominence and influence both in the film industry and beyond.
